4) Robert W. Morgenroth – An Emmy winning VFX industry veteran, having started his own VFX company in 1990, called E=mc2 Digital, and bootstrapped it from one employee, himself, to 26 with 14 in Taipei, when he formed what was one of the first 24 hour work cycle outsource pipelines from Los Angeles in 2004. He sold the company, and soon began researching the possibilities of creating content with virtual production techniques that were developed on AVATAR. He started forming a team in 2011 and they have developed new technologies for VR and AR content production, connecting stages in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and China. FORTRESS is currently raising funds and he has learned quite a few things about that process.
