Ho ho ho VR AR 360 Enthusiasts

First we’d like to remind that you can stay updated about VR in the nordics and communicate with likeminded enthusiasts on our facebook page. Join us!

We’re back to make this christmas season a little more virtual delightful with two researchers from Medialogy Aalborg University Copenhagen, who are going to enlighten us about audio & locomotion for VR.

Stefania Serafin’s will present their research activities in their multi sensory experience lab, with a focus on sonic interaction design, multichannel surround sound and  virtual reality musical instruments.

Niels Chr. Nilsson will present low-cost locomotion for consumer VR. He recently defended his Phd thesis: “Walking Without Moving: An exploration of factors influencing the perceived naturalness of Walking-in-Place techniques for locomotion in virtual environments”.

Finally we’ll end the night with demo’s incl. HTC Vive, networking, æbleskiver and coffee/tea.
